About UK’s Top Boarding School Premier Preparatory Course 

Established in early 2006 , Rise Smart Overseas Education Centre has been a professional agency serving motivated individuals who pursue overseas study. In the past 12 years, we successfully arranged for more than hundred students to be admitted to top UK boarding schools. The UK’s top boarding school premier preparatory course is designed for students who wish to enter UK top schools. About Sevenoaks School

Sevenoaks school is a co-educational independent day and boarding school for pupils aged between 11 and 18 years. Founded in 1432 as a boy' school, it is one of the oldest lay foundation schools in the United Kingdom. The school, which is set in a 100-acre site, became fully co-educational in 1984. The schools seeks to promote an international aspects in its pupil intake. The study of the International Baccalaureate (IB) is well established and the school has recently developed its own externally moderated courses called Sevenoaks School Certificate (SSC), which are taken alongside IGCSE and GCSE exam.

Sevenoaks School Admission Information and Tips

Parents should be aware that if their children wish to enroll Year 9 in Sevenoaks, they have to start the application at least 3 years ago. For Year 12 entry, they need to apply by the end of August of the previous year.

Sevenoaks School prefers students to complete the (I)GCSE before entering the Sixth Form and start the IBDP course. They do not prefer students to take IBMYP because the curriculum is much easier and will have an adverse effect on the performance in IBDP.

In order to enroll in Sevenoaks, apart from the results of the past two years and the entrance exams, the most decisive are the students' Personal Statement and interview. Sevenoaks has great competition for admission. Take 2017 as an example, there are about 450 students wish to enroll in Sevenoaks and an average of 4-5 students to compete for a place. Therefore, student must be well prepared in order to enroll in this school.

Over the past 4 years, Joyce has tutored 30+ IB/GCSE students from notable schools in Hong Kong and the UK, including CIS, LPCUWC, HKIS, WIS, KGV, Harrow School and Godolphin & Latymer School. Joyce mainly teaches English, History and Philosophy, and occasionally helps students with IB Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge.
