Building & Surveying 建築及測量

測量師，源自英聯邦國家中對測量專業人士的稱呼。測量的工作範籌並不止於測度計量的字面聯想。測量是指要科學地了解事實，並能在活用所知的基礎下合情合理的訂定及執行必要之工作。測量專業在房地產建築業的發展最具規模，系統，認受性及歷史。

今天，測量師在房地產建築業的不同崗位上發揮重要作用，與著重科學的工程師及藝術的建築設計師等專業緊密合作。以房地產發展週期為例，當中可以見到產業測量師向投資者就市場供求及投資回報作出土地收購發展的建議;項目設計及施工前要獲得土地測量師對土地邊界的精確定位資料;工料測量師為客戶建議合適的工程合同格式及內容，而至工程款項的審計及爭議的調解;樓宇落成後物業及設施管理測量師為樓宇保值增值提出及實施可持續發展方案;建築測量師協助樓宇合法活化，判斷樓宇安全狀況;規劃及發展測量師因應環境變遷，重新策劃土地的未來用途。

測量專業在房地產建築業內，以具科學管理的專長推動城市可持續發展，在不少公共議題上提供意見。

通常具備測量學或相關學科

專業資格
普遍根據《測量師註冊條例》註冊為註冊專業測量師；通常為香港測量師學會或皇家特許測量師學會會員。

工作經驗
一般需要5至8年相關工作經驗
