Guildford College

Guildford College is the largest further and higher education college in the area, with approximately 10,000 students and hundreds of courses available at all levels. Qualifications range from foundation to degree level, in a wide range of subjects. Just over a third of students study full-time courses, with the majority of those aged between 16 and 18 years old. Most part-time students are adults. The Colleges also work closely with local employers to provide relevant and tailored training for their employees. Success rates are higher than national benchmarks and many students go on to work in local commerce and industry, benefiting the surrounding region with their talents and skills. The College benefits from some exceptional resources, which replicate real-world working environments including hair and beauty salons, a TV studio, travel centre, kitchens and restaurant. As well as its industry standard facilities, the College offers professional teaching by industry specialists and provides comprehensive support for students.
