What is the IELTS?
The International English Language Test System or IELTS is an international standardised test of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers. IELTS is accepted by most Australian, British, Canadian, New Zealand and US academic institutions and by various professional organisations across the world.
IELTS is also the only Secure English Language Test approved by UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) for visa customers applying both outside and inside the UK. It is also a requirement for immigration to Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
IELTS Test Format
Listening: 30 minutes
Reading: 60 minutes
Writing: 60 minutes
Speaking: 11-14 minutes
The IELTS takes around 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete.
IELTS Course Information
We provide 1-to 1 private lessons, regular foundation course before examination period. Students from international schools, local schools or schools in UK are all welcomed. Our maximum class size is up to 4 students.
IELTS course Fee: $16,000 with 12 lessons (9 tutorial lessons + 3 mock paper drilling lessons)
Each tutorial lesson is 2 hours
(Special discount will be provided if student committed 30 hours or more)

Megan is a qualified and experienced ESL teacher with more than 10 years' experience teaching ESL classes. She is qualified as an IELTS examiner. She has completed a Teach English Online presented by Cambridge Assessment English in collaboration with FutureLearn. Megan qualified as an IELTS examiner through IDP, an accreditation which she has used to enhance her effectiveness as an IELTS tutor. She also has qualifications in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Middlesex university and a PGCE from the University of Cape town.
Mr Lau

Mr Lau read English at the University College London. As the winner of the Elsie Hitchcock Prize for the best performance in the Modern English Language module, he is one of the few English undergraduates who possess a solid foundation in both literature and linguistics (language).
He is currently working as a full-time teacher at a EMI secondary school. Thus, his lessons are effective and highly structured which equip students with the necessary frameworks and skills to succeed in different tests and exams.
With experience of tutoring students in International A-Level and iGCSE, he now offers tuition in the above curricula as well as UKiset, CAT4 and the other entrance exams

Miss Hui is a third year student studying English and Education at the University of Hong Kong. With a strong passion for language learning, not only does she speak fluent English and Mandarin, but she is also learning German, Japanese and Korean. Throughout her language learning journey, she has developed her own strategies and techniques to effectively improve language proficiency, and is happy to share these skills to help students find the most suitable way of learning.
Miss Hui has three years of tutoring experience, with students ranging from local to international school students, as well as primary school to university students. She has also participated in various voluntary teaching programmes for underprivileged children, in which she designed tailor-made teaching materials. She believes that learning should be made fun and engaging, and language is a valuable asset in our lives. She is keen to help develop individualised learning methods for students.
